Plot summary

The story happens in Ephesus. Lysander promised his daughters Elpinice and Aglatide in marriage respectively to Cotys and Spitridate but he needs the agreement of Agésilas. In the meantime, Spitridate has fallen in love with Elpinice (instead of Aglatide) and Cotys loves Mandane.
